This role is ideal for an APN who enjoys clinical autonomy, values flexibility, and may be interested in building something that feels like their own private practice without the administrative burden, overhead, or billing responsibilities. Position Overview The APN will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing care to outpatient mental health clients. Youll work collaboratively with our therapy team while maintaining independence in your clinical decision-making. This position offers: Flexible scheduling (evenings, weekends, limited daysyour choice) Percentage-based compensation All billing, credentialing, and administrative tasks handled for you A steady referral stream within an established group practice Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for outpatient clients Provide medication management , including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications Educate clients on medications, side effects, interactions, and treatment expectations Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support integrated, client-centered care Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated Follow all state, federal, and ethical guidelines related to advanced practice nursing Qualifications Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the state of Illinois Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred Experience working with outpatient mental health populations Strong clinical judgment and comfort working independently Excellent communication and collaboration skills Interest in integrative, client-centered care models is a plus Compensation & Structure W-2 position Percentage-based pay No billing, insurance follow-up, or administrative overhead Supportive infrastructure that allows you to focus on client care Flexible work from home options available.6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
