Overview DHS Credentialed/Experienced Background Investigator - Aurora/Denver, CO. This full-time position supports the DHS Background Investigation Program and may support other CACI BI programs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals. Review records to obtain facts and resolve material issues in a case; establish background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of the subject under investigation. Document all information and submit a detailed report of investigation within a strict required timeline. Required Skills DHS credential and experience conducting background investigations Active Top Secret clearance Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics Preferred Skills Spanish speaking Clearance Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable determination based on a Single Scope Background Investigation Physical Demands Normal demands associated with working in an office environment Long periods of standing, walking, and typing This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). Pay and benefits meet or exceed the minimums in the applicable wage determination. The rate shown is the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors; actual rate depends on contract, location, and job classification.
