Our DHW's role is to oversee the activities of the Resident/Med Aides and to model the activities of daily living that are performed in a manner consistent with the philosophy of Assisted Living. Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Provide direction for the Resident/Med Aides’ service to the residents. Monitors resident service plans, according to state regulations. Records information to determine quality of service to residents and directs caregivers to implement needed change. Monitors and maintains records reflecting residents’ physical and mental condition. Reports all significant changes in a resident’s condition to his or her physician. Works with pharmacy to ensure the appropriate handling of, receiving, storing, and reordering of medications. Ensures confidentiality related to care staff concerns and corrective measures Assist with coordination of temporary and/or permanent transfers or discharges to another facility.
