About the team

The Strategy & Operations team at Airwallex plays a pivotal role in driving the companys overall growth and efficiency. We are a collaborative group of analysts, strategists, and operational experts passionate about translating vision into action. We leverage data insights, sharp problemsolving skills, and a deep understanding of the business to optimize processes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure Airwallex operates efficiently and effectively at scale.

What youll do

As Director, Revenue Strategy & Operations, Americas, you will own the strategic roadmap for revenue growth across the Americas, defining and executing the multiyear GTM strategy for Airwallexs products and channels.

This role is based in New York or San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead deep market research and competitive intelligence to shape regional product positioning, pricing strategy, and market expansion decisions.
  • Drive highimpact growth initiatives that accelerate Airwallexs footprint in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, working closely with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Architect and scale datadriven vertical strategies, experimentation frameworks, and segmentation models to unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Influence product strategy by surfacing regional insights, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring alignment between product roadmaps and Americas revenue priorities.
  • Represent the Americas in global planning forums, ensuring clarity, alignment, and crisp communication around strategy, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a highperforming team; build frameworks, elevate talent, and establish the operational cadence for the function.

Who you are

Were looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, revenue operations, commercial leadership, or highgrowth technology environments
  • Proven success leading teams and building strategic and operational capabilities at scale.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including structuring data models, leveraging BI tools (Looker, Tableau), and driving insightled decisionmaking.
  • Excellent executivelevel communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong academic record with evidence of structured problemsolving capability.
  • Fintech, financial services, or technology experience in a highgrowth environment is advantageous.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry in a product role or business intelligence domain with strong understanding of lending business, payments, or fintech.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce and data analytics tools.
  • Experience with project management systems.
  • Background in consulting (Bain, BCG, McKinsey).
