Overview Of Primary Duties Performing various tasks and material handling under the direct supervision of an assigned electrician installing the work. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit using tools such as a hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit benders under the direct supervision of an assigned electrician. Assist electricians with properly mounting and installing assigned electrical work, conduit, electrical tray, wires, and devices. Demonstrate Yates Core Values and Principles. Follow Yates Code of Conduct. Safety Responsibilities and Expectations including: refusing unsafe work, reporting incidents, wearing PPE, and participating in required training and inspections. Provide suggestions to improve Safety and present a mature approach to safe work practices. Attend prestart and Safety meetings and contribute. Other related duties as needed and assigned by Field Supervision. Qualifications Level IV: Thirty-six (36)+ months of heavy industrial-related electrical experience. Other verified experiences or certifications with electrical experience at Level III, II, I as applicable: twenty-four (24) to thirty-five (35) months; twelve (12) to twenty-three (23) months; zero (0) to eleven (11) months; plus one (1) year of industrial experience. Requirements Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation. Personal hand tools required for craft as established on the Yates Industrial Minimum Tool List. Successful completion of required Safety training including, but not limited to, Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights. Physical Demands / Essential Job Functions This job description reflects an assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict tasks. Moderate to high noise levels; presence of equipment, materials, and tools on site. Ability to hear alarms; wear safety-approved body harness when working at 4 feet or above. Standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, lifting; ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 25 lbs. Vision abilities to focus, see distances, colors, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
