• ED Beds: 40 (includes fast-track beds)
• Staffing Model:
  • 52 hours of weekly Physician coverage
  • 8-hour Physician shifts
  • 40 hours of weekly APP coverage
  • 10-hour APP shifts
• ED Model: Community medical center
• EMR: Epic
• Scribe coverage available

As one of the eight facilities within Houston Methodist, this campus offers nearly 200 beds and access to the most innovative medical and surgical care available to meet a patient's health care needs. Houston Methodist West's emergency department offers a full-digital radiography suite, low-radiation dose 64-slice CT, full lab services, six ambulance bays, a helipad for EMS helicopters, and a dedicated EMS workstation.
