Front-End Software Engineer

We are looking for a talented Front-End Software Engineer to join our Technology team. Individual will be working on large-scale Web applications that will reach tens of millions of users nationwide. Responsibilities

• Work with the product design team to implement our next generation of products
• Extensive familiarity with website layouts and strives to implement (code) pixel-perfect designs
• Utilization of responsive design and emerging coding and design practices
• Contribute throughout all stages of product design, development, unit testing, and code reviews

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on coding experience to implement Front-End Web UI/UX for large scale web sites
• Advanced-level knowledge and understanding of core web technologies like JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, SASS/SCSS
• Proficiency in Django Templating Language, Handlebars Templates and Django Web Framework
• Proficiency in React.js, Next.js and Node.js frameworks and React Components, State Management, and Hooks
• Experience with Responsive CSS frameworks, Grid systems like Bootstrap 4/5 and any other notables
• Experience with RESTful APIs and efficient methods of requesting data from backend services
• Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and with the UI/UX creative design teams to layout websites and build a range of front-end web and mobile applications
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on software and web development
• Candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen
• This is NOT a remote work position. Candidate must be able to reliably commute or willing to relocate to Washington, D.C.
