At Percy, we’re building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at a residential community near Sumter, SC.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys outdoor work, troubleshooting, and keeping a community safe and well-maintained. If you have a clean driving record, can pass a background check, and bring at least 6 months of maintenance or related experience, you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact while growing your skills with a supportive regional team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and basic repairs for homes and community infrastructure
• Handle landscaping, groundskeeping, debris removal, and routine curb appeal tasks
• Complete seasonal work, including snow removal and storm preparation/cleanup
• Respond to rotating on-call needs, especially during weather events and utility issues
• Safely operate vehicles and equipment while maintaining accurate maintenance logs

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in maintenance, landscaping, or construction/manual labor
• Comfortable with rotating on-call responsibilities and crawling under homes as needed
• Able to pass a background check; HS diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
