Job Summary$15,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants!!This position is eligible for a $6 float premium CT/ MRI The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist performs routine and complex imaging exams in assigned modalities which may include a combination of the following dependent on advanced certification and competency: Xray, CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Interventional Radiology. Multi-Modality Imaging technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic exams, use of radiofrequencies, and/or multi-frequency sound waves for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist acquires and analyzes data needed for diagnosis, interpretation and the performance of imaging exams and procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Multi-Modality Imaging technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.The Multi-Modality Technologist must be flexible in job assignments, willing and able to learn new skills, and is required to maintain annual competencies in all assigned modalities.Multi-Modality Technologists must actively contribute to patient care across multiple modalities within their scheduled shifts and/or maintain active placement on more than one modality schedule during each pay period.
