Job Description
Title: Network Engineer 3 (TS/SCI with Poly)
Location: San Diego, CA and Aurora, CO (2 openings)
Duration: 12+ months
Schedule: 1st Shift (9/80A) Responsibilities:
• Support the installation, integration, and testing of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom equipment used to further research efforts on superconducting microelectronic devices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off.
• Support the existing network to maintain connectivity and support large Client distribution
• Collaborate with the government customer to ensure that requirements and deliverables are met Basic Qualifications for Sr Network Engineer Lead:
• Active TS/SCI with full scope poly
• 8 years of experience as a network engineer working on a classified program
• Strong understanding of traditional network engineering, routing and switching, firewall management
o Worked directly with the cyber
• Expertise in network security and cyber security to implement best practices and advanced protocols
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with a government customer
• Open to 70% OCONUS travel Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Network Engineer Lead:
- CCNA or CISSP
- SATCOM network experience specifically for a ground/surface user.
