Nuclear Safety Engineer III Responsibilities Using discretion and independent judgment. Nuclear Safety Engineers are responsible for creation of Safety Bases Documents, which comply with 10 CFR 830, DOE Standards, and PRC procedures. Develop and maintain nuclear safety documents including DSAs, TSRs, Hazard Analysis and Control Decision Documents. Interface with management and operations to resolve nuclear and criticality safety issues. Daily to weekly written and verbal communication with operations, engineering staff, UCOR management, and DOE staff. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of which at least four must directly relate to the required area of expertise.
