Join to apply for the Offset Press Operator role at Resource Label Group . We are seeking a Press Operator to join our team in Commack, NY. Responsibilities Reads job orders and loads paper into the press Fill the fountains Cleans plates and print cylinders Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as required Keeps work areas clean and organized, maintains housekeeping standards Helps pressman with putting loads out of the press Speed loads press feeder Clean blankets, as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 4 years of flexographic printing press experience is required Experience with KBA sheeted press, 8‑color & 9‑color is required Familiarity with Mark Andy Flexo P5 or P7 required Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Must be able to read and interpret rulers, scales and other measurement devices Adherent to all safety procedures and guidelines related to operating machinery Superb attention to detail and product quality Vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Regularly exposed to noise, dust, odors and oils Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines Physical Requirements Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment (24‑hour turnaround on product) Aptitude for mechanical operation Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance Excellent attendance and punctuality – accurately record work time on a daily basis Able to operate a computer and time clock machines Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Printing Services #J-18808-Ljbffr Resource Label Group
