Job Title: Sheetmetal Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on drilling out fasteners, riveting, and conducting trim work on aircraft and parts. This role involves significant sheet metal modification work.

• Perform sheet metal modifications on aircraft and parts.
• Drill out fasteners and perform riveting tasks.
• Conduct trim work as necessary.
• Read and interpret blueprints for modification projects.
• Work with King Air aircraft in a modification environment.

• Experience in sheet metal modification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with countersinking, riveting, and repairing sheet metal.
• At least 3 years of experience in a repair environment or experimental line.

• Experience with King Air aircraft is a plus.
• Own set of tools required for the job.

Work in a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) environment located in New Century, KS. The facility is non-climate controlled and operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. The team consists of 12 mechanics, and the shop can accommodate up to 8-10 aircraft. Dress code includes jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, with safety glasses required at times.

This is a Contract position based out of New Century, KS.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in New Century,KS.
