• Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war
• Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
• Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities

Our team leverages industry standard open-source software solutions such as GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher. Our automation-first and “everything as code” mindset allows our software engineers to focus their time and efforts on what is most important - building cutting edge functionality for our end users. 

You will have the opportunity to be a full-stack developer working on both front-end and back-end software using JavaScript as well as developing automated tests (unit tests, service level tests, and end-to-end tests) to ensure high quality software that is built into our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a software, engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• Experience with at least one modern programming language: C#/C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Ruby
• Familiarity with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development
• Demonstrated growth mindset

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, C++, C#
• Candidate will have knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing and configuration management, database and System administration
• Self-motivated with strong teamwork and organizational skills
• Experience with automated build, test, continuous delivery and deployment
• Ability to maintain TS/SCI Clearance
