The support technician reports to the President, who is also the lead network engineer, and will work closely with client locations to support infrastructure systems and devices. This role works in both educational and business environments and also assists onsite techs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receives requests for IT support on applications, hardware, peripherals, and data via helpdesk, phone, email, text, and in person, and documents requests and tracks progress through resolution and end?user satisfaction.
• Demonstrates strong IT problem?solving and interpersonal communication skills.
• Builds rapport and maintains a calm, patient demeanor in stressful situations.
• Understands common IT systems, software, hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting methods.
• Assists and trains end users to solve problems and increase self?reliance.
• Eager to learn.
• Works independently, manages multiple tasks and priorities, and adapts quickly to business needs.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive to various clients in greater Cincinnati.
• Adaptable, flexible, and growth?mindset.
• Supports various locations and helps onsite techs as needed.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree in a technology related field preferred; Associate degree in technology considered.
• 4?5 years experience in technology support position preferred.
• Reliable work history.
• Experience with Mac, iPad, Windows, and Chromebooks.
• Experience with mobile device management systems.
• Experience with Office 365 and Google admin.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server management.
• Network switch experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to obtain FBI and CBI Background Checks, Safe Parish Training, and drug screening.
