We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plumbing Supervisor to oversee residential plumbing operations across multiple new construction job sites in the Dayton, Ohio area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in residential plumbing and proven experience managing field crews. You'll ensure that all installations meet quality standards, safety requirements, and local code compliance-while keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily plumbing operations at residential new construction sites across Dayton, Ohio.
- Assign, schedule, and manage plumbing crews; monitor attendance, productivity, and workmanship quality.
- Review and interpret blueprints, site plans, and job specifications to ensure proper layout and installation.
- Ensure all plumbing systems meet Ohio state and local codes, job specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, site superintendents, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Provide on-site technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field crews.
- Manage material orders, deliveries, and inventory across multiple active job sites.
- Conduct routine quality assurance inspections to verify compliance and performance.
- Maintain a strong culture of safety, leading regular toolbox talks, safety audits, and adherence to OSHA and KEP standards.
- Mentor and train apprentices and journeymen to help them progress toward licensing and skill development.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, materials, and labor using mobile and digital reporting tools.

Specific Qualifications
Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 4 years of residential plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of rough-in, top-out, and finish plumbing for single-family or multi-family construction.
- Familiarity with Ohio plumbing codes, inspection procedures, and permitting requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills; able to manage multiple crews and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient with mobile apps, digital reporting tools, and scheduling platforms.
Preferred: - Ohio Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.
- Experience managing multi-site residential projects or subdivisions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
Physical Requirements - Ability to walk, stand, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs across active construction environments.
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in Ohio weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity).
- Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and elevated areas as required.
